SyntegraTech's People Attendance Tracking System (PATS) is built for the tracking of employees, people, visitors, members, or attendees of any group in and out of any commercial, industrial, government or club facility. It can be used to collect transactions each time a person enters or leaves a building, or campus, using a bar code ID badge, which it can also produce. It has all the features and reporting required to track the attributes of a member of the group (member, person, employee, visitor, attendee, etc.), and can be used to report activity, and statistical data helpful to any organization, and many groups and clubs. It is simple to set up, and simple to use. It is available in Access 2000/2002/XP/2003/2007 versions, which can be found in Microsoft Office Professional. It comes with full source code, and can be easily modified. The PATS software is independent of any other software. It has been installed very successfully at many locations, and can be integrated to "host" software of most any type to make use of existing "people" data.

We provide you with five MS Access databases. One is for the Employee/Visitor/People and Validation Data, a second is for the Scanned Data, and a third is for the Archived Scanned Data. The People database can be connected to most any "People database" in an ODBC compliant software package. These three databases make up the basic data that is available for reporting within the system. The other databases comprise the program functionality of the system. The Member Services program provides an interface for you to gain access to the People and Scanned Data and make photo or non-photo ID Badges. You may enter basic People Information, Validation Data, and you may import this basic data directly from your existing "People" database. This data is then used for reporting, which is available to you from the Administrative Services interface. You may also inquire to the Scanned Data to see who is here, and who has left, and you can inquire to the People Data for general reporting by any field or combination criteria. There is a very rich database of information for statistical reporting by a multitude of criteria. Since this software is made in Access, you may do any additional inquiry and reporting you would like through Access, using your own or the Member Services Interface. You may install the Member Services user interface program on as many PCs as you would like within the same location, and allow other people to have access to this data, as long as you have network connectivity between the PCs. The last program database would be installed on one or more PCs within the same location and would, through a bar code slot, pen, CCD, or laser scanner, monitor the entry and exit of people. You could set this program up on as many PCs as you would like within the same location. You may collect entry and exit data at many different entry/exit points within the same location, and have it written to the Scanned Data database, as long as you had network connectivity to a File Server or another Peer Computer acting as a shared memory location within the system. One may view the Scanned Data for each PC collecting data from the Reporter Interface, and as it happens on the Scanning PC, in the Scanned Data window.

SyntegraTech provides this package at a price of $650. This price does not include any modifications you would wish to have done, or installation support you would require. You will need to have MS Office Professional or MS Access to run the program we provide (version 2000/2002/XP/2003/2007). The only other software you need is a bar code font or utility package to have bar codes appear on the ID Badges. We have available a rather inexpensive Font Package, $149, or a more complete Font Package for $249. We also have a bar code Utility as an MS Access AddIn, which requires no programming capabilities on your part for $99 per installation. We can provide the bar code font or MS Access AddIn Utility as part of the items we provide, or you may acquire it on your own, but you will need one or the other to make bar codes appear on badges and reports.

The hardware required for this system is simple and easy to set up. We use bar codes on the badges that come from the system, so any bar code input device attached to your Scanning PC(s) will work nicely. SyntegraTech provides Bar Code Wands for $160, Bar Code Badge Slot Scanners for $219 (this is best), Bar Code CCD Scanners for $359, and Bar Code Laser Scanners for $549. All of these devices attach to the PC where the keyboard plugs in, and any scanned data is sent through the keyboard buffer directly to where the cursor is on that computer's screen. There is no additional knowledge or programming required. You just plug the bar code scanner (whatever type you would like) into the computer, and it works! You may even want to connect a wand scanner to the same PC you do your reporting on, because you can easily produce "bar coded lists" and use the wand for easy and fast data entry. One thing needs to be very clear; the PC that is used for scanning needs to be dedicated to the scanning process while that is occurring. When no scanning is taking place, it can be used for anything else you would like, but not while badges are being scanned. We can also provide you with inexpensive compact and very industrial microcomputers (starting at $270 barebones), which will work nicely for this and any other application.

You can set up PATS yourself, if you would like, or we can also assist you over the phone at $100 per hour. The system is fairly simple and it is easy for you to understand the operations of the PATS software. Little training is required. You may also want some customization, which is charged out at the rate of $100 per hour for work done at SyntegraTech. We are here to help you in any way we can.
