SyntegraTech’s
Electronic Timesheet Tracking and Reporting System (eTIime) is built for the
tracking and reporting of employees/subcontractors time spent on various tasks
while at a construction site or at a facility. It takes the classic “timesheet”
and makes it electronic. It has all the features and reporting required to
track the activities regular, overtime, double time hours by Pay Week,
Timesheet Number, Foreman, Crew, Shift, Craft, and Work Code. It is simple to
set up, and simple to use. It is available in Access 2000/2002/XP/2003/2007
versions, which can be found in Microsoft Office Professional. It comes to you
as executable code, but is available as source code, and can be easily
modified. The eTimeSheet software is independent of any other software.
This is an
easy to use program that allows you to enter and track (approve) timesheets by
Foreman, Cost Engineer, Payroll, Site/Plant Manager, and even Customer.
eTimeSheet allows you to collect (input) all timesheet, track and report all
kinds of labor information, produce all kinds of blank and completed timesheets
and generate many reports using any of the available information based on a
variety of criteria. It eliminates the
errors and hassles of paper-based labor reporting/timesheet systems. The
Foremen/Supervisors themselves record their own crews’ timesheet information,
produce blank timesheet worksheets, and approve those timesheets they are
entitled to approve at one or more microcomputer eTimeSheet workstations. They
have full visibility of their actions at the time they make their entries, and
may come back to enter or modify timesheet data until they have “approved” the
timesheet. Once the Foremen approve the timesheet, you may have additional
approvals (as required) by Engineering, Payroll, Site or Plant Management, and
even a Customer if so required. It insures that labor information is recorded
and applied correctly, and is approved and reported in a timely and useful
manner.
We provide
you with three MS Access databases. One is for the Employee/Subcontractor,
Foreman, Crew, Craft, Work Code and other Validation Data, as well as the
Current Timesheet/Labor Data. A second database is for the History
Timesheet/Labor. These two make up the basic data that is available for
reporting within the system. The other database comprise the program
functionality of the system. This is the eTimeSheet user interface program. The
eTimeSheet database program provides an interface for you to gain access to the
all the functionality of the system as well as Current and History
Timesheet/Labor Data. You may enter and edit basic Employee, Subcontractor,
Craft, and Work Release (Package/Code) data, or you may import them form
existing sources (database(s)). You may also enter and edit Company, Foreman,
Crew, and Shift, as well as other information for complete maintenance of the
data within the system. All this data is then used for reporting, which is
available to you from the various submenus off the eTimeSheet Main Menu. You
may also inquire to and report the Current and History Timesheet/Labor
Distribution Data to see who did what for how long when, and by many other
interesting criteria such as shift, date, timesheet number, etc.. You can also
inquire to the two available “data” databases for general reporting by any field
or combination of criteria. There is a very rich database of information for
statistical reporting by a multitude of criteria. Since this is made in Access,
you may do any additional inquiry and reporting you would like through Access,
using the features available to you in Access itself, regardless of if you
purchase the executable or source code versions. You may also export labor
transactions by employee by timesheet by work package for a Pay Week to other
payroll and labor accounting programs.
You may install the
eTimeSheet program on as many PCs as you would like within the same location,
and allow other people to have access to this data (for approval, maintenance
or reporting), as long as you have network connectivity between the PCs. You
could set this program up on as many PCs as you would like to collect labor
distribution data within the same location, and have them all write the data to
the eTimeData database, as long as you had network connectivity to a File
Server or another Peer Computer acting as a shared memory space.
